I stopped by here after getting my COVID test for travel. I'm really glad I did. I'd been eating a lot of Mexican food since I got to the Bay Area but this is the most homestyle Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico. The owners are welcoming and hospitable and the food is incredible. We tried a variety of their stewed meats, including chicharon, which I hadn't tried before, but my favorite was the lamb barbacoa.
This spot is the TRUE definition of traditional BIRRIA!! If u want to try the REAL DEAL pull up and order the BIRRIA Blanco Tacos on Homemade corn tortillas u can thank me later. The best I've had since Mexico. This is replacing my other taco spot sorry not sorry. Too good not to go back. 5+

We came and ate here because we were craving tortas and it was nearby.. we will definitely be back! The service was good, the quesabirrias were great, and they made me a vegetarian torta that was delicious!
This place is a lowkey area but the food is really good. The workers here are super sweet and kind. Parking is a bit difficult to find but overall would definitely recommend here. I drove an hour to come here.
Found this place through my coworkers, and I highly recommend it. Some people Might not be used to the real Mexican food that's why they wrote a bad review.... there's more to Mexican food than tacos and burritos( if you even wanna call burritos "Mexican food" ...The birria is bomb, specially with homemade tortillas. We found it!!! Ive been looking for a legit Restaurant like this in the area. It just so happened we were getting a tire fixed next door and saw one of the waitresses walk some menudo over to the guy working. I asked her where it was from and she told me right around the block. Came over and sure enough we found it. I had the chicharron en Chile with fresh made tortillas. The fiancé had three tacos with fresh hand made tortillas - asada, chicken, and chorizo. Little had arroz and frijoles. Definitely coming back!
I found this place through Yelp. I'm always looking for good Mexican food and thought I'd check it out. There were no prices written on the menu, but after I had the food, I didn't really care. I ordered the #9 on the menu, not knowing what came with it; best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Family owned, the restaurant definitely has a family feel. The tortillas are fresh and unlimited, the ingredients are fresh, and the service was fast and great (I was asked if I wanted more tortillas, more sauce, more anything... several times). Will definitely come back and bring my friends to this place.
